Makers Fair Ideas
You just saw Makers Fair. Here's what to make next year, with some creative freedom…

If you're like me, you watched Makers Fair come and go without realizing it was happening until the last minute or not having any ideas for what to make. Well, why not prepare early this year so you're ready for next year? In this article, I have compiled a list of ideas for Makers Fair 2027.
- With so many people buying stuff at Makers Fair, they're going to need something to put all their purchases in. What will they do when they find themselves with arms full of candy, keychains, and crochet animals? Well luckily you will have set up a custom tote bag stand! Simply buy a bunch of white tote bags and paint designs on them! The people won't care about artistic talent, they just need something to hold their goods.
- Paint rocks, easy and materials are cheap. Everyone loves painted rocks!
- A big problem that many people have at Makers Fair is that they don't have any cash. This is why you will be ready by accepting E-transfers and giving people cash, with a 10% charge of course. You will essentially be a human ATM. Yes, there is an ATM near the Pos Ed office, but this is why you will position your stand closer to everyone else, why would someone go all the way to the ATM in the dining hall when you're right there! Also, you're not technically "making" anything (except for money) so this might be difficult to pull off.
- Bathroom Fee. Simple, set up your booth outside of the bathroom and charge people to use it. Not too much, you could start with just 50 cents per use then up your prices when demand goes up. As well as having the same problems as the ATM idea, this is against the rules so it might be hard to pull off.
- Set up a time machine box that sends people to the year 3000, charge 50 dollars, as soon as someone gets in, lock the box and keep them there forever. Tell everyone that they teleported to the year 3000. Nobody will find out until 3000, when you're long gone.
I hope with this list, you are finally able to make some money next Makers Fair!
