MemoryLane is a student led initiative that helps bridge the generational gap between youth and seniors in our community. MemoryLane addresses the issue of social isolation and loneliness among elders particularly living with conditions like dementia. Many seniors lack daily interactions and community engagement, and our initiative works to address this by fostering empathy, awareness, and developing a long-term relationship between students and seniors. We aim to create meaningful connections through impactful actions Some future plans as this initiative grows is to deliver care packages, organizing visits and phone calls, and offering tech support.
