Pool Pals:
- "Oakville Aquatics is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team as Pool Pals! As a volunteer, you provide support to swimming instructors on deck and in the water. Volunteers must be 13 years old and hold a Bronze Medallion Lifesaving Award and successfully complete a Pool Pal workshop."Volunteer Opportunities can be accessed here through this website. Through personal experience the workshop is about 3 hours and is quite easy. The deck supervisor talks about safety and professionalism. And of course there is a swim test.
Appleby Camps:
- The requirements are that you completed Grade 9, you are at least 14 and have completed Standard First Aid CPR Level C.
- You will have to take a Volunteer Training Session on June 13 & 14th and Camp Work is assigned on June 22 and is done to August 28th. If you are interested, apply on May 1st.
- What you would be doing as a volunteer would "provide co-educational opportunities to develop advanced skills and promote interactive skills among participants. Each Appleby camp has the use of superb facilities and offers access to excellent instruction. Our programs emphasize individual development, participation, co-operation, and fun!"

Kerr Street Mission (Special Events):
- "By signing up as a Special Events volunteer, you will be added to a distribution list and notified of volunteer opportunities as they arise. Your participation is optional, and you can request to be removed from our list at any time."
- You would be doing things such as sorting out donation items and helping run food drives.
- The minimum age to volunteer is 14 years old.

Town of Oakville Volunteer Opportunities:
- If you volunteer for the town you don't only get service hours but also an opportunity to learn a new skill.

YMCA Volunteering:
- If you are 14 or over then you can sign up to be a volunteer at YMCA Oakville.
